HELP! I NEED SOMEBODY!

Jane Asher & Paul McCartney (ended 1968)

Im going to make a short story about a song that is one of the most recorded(cover) song in the world, Yesterday by ‘The Fab Four’. One morning, Paul woke up and went straight to a piano and started playing. “It was just all there,” he said. Since it’s like so complete, he afraid that the tune might have been plagiarized from other songs. So, he went round to people in music business whether they had ever heard it before (for a month). It’s like you found a million cash and you hand in to the police right?

Do you know how the lyrics of “Yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away” before? It was like this, “Scrambled eggs, Oh you’ve got such a lovely legs” In about four weeks, Paul been playing this Scrambled Eggs song on the stage (that time Beatles were shooting for Help! in studio). Until Dick Lester (the director) got annoyed and said “If you play that bloody song any longer, I’ll have the piano taken off stage! Either finish it or give it up.”

Even though, John Lennon never wished that he had written it, he did admit that it was a beautiful song with good lyrics. Basically, the song was about someone wanting to turn back the clock, to retreat to a time before a tragic event. It does not apply for just a love relationship, cause the application is universal. There are some speculations and stories behind this song, but na’a, Im not your bedtime story teller. Bye bye!
